Join us during The Radiant Rupture exhibition at the Palos Verdes Art Center for a conversation between artists Mirabel Wigon and Marie Thibeault.

Together, they will reflect on the evolution of the work, the language of abstraction, and the shifting environmental ideas that inform the paintings.

This event continues a dialogue between the artists that has developed over many years.

Mirabel Wigon is a California-based artist whose work of flowering plants reflects on the intermingling and entangled relationships in the natural world. Wigon’s work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions both regionally and nationally. Her work is a part of the UC Davis Health Collection and Provost Collection at CSULB. She is currently Assistant Professor of Art at California State University, Stanislaus, where she teaches drawing and painting.
